East of Yonge street, around Sherbourne and King, one of the oldest parts of the city.  There have been a wide variety of new developments and conversions with something for every price range.  You are within easy walking distance to Toronto’s best shopping, business, and entertainment. Along King Street is the city's best antique and design shops.

This is another area that has been extensively renovated and runs east of Don Valley Parkway to Pape Avenue and south of Danforth.  This area is home to large greek and oriental communities and quite trendy with famous Danforth shopping area and reasonably priced restaurants which draw crowds from all over the city. A mix of young families are enjoying a surplus of parks and specialty stores, along with clubs and cafes open till the morning hours.
 

The Beaches

This is a trendy neighborhood of artists, educators, and media type; families and singles.  Located on the north side of Lake Ontario and South of Kingston Road between Woodbine and Victoria Park.  The area is noted for eclectic shops, restaurants, and lakeside boardwalk bustle of activity, where laid back attitude finds joggers and people walking their dogs. A lot of properties have been updated and extensive renovations which can vary the price.
