Midtown
Bloor-Yorkville
The High rent district with endless stream of actors, artists and successful business people making this their home and Toronto headquarters. Yorkville boasts exclusive shops, restaurants, and hotels. During the Toronto International Film Festival the area is abuzz with famous actors frequenting the many restaurants and boutiques.
Rosedale
Toronto’s oldest residential community described as where the movers and shakers of the professional world live. This area is bound by Bloor Street on the south and St. Clair Avenue on the north.
Moore Park
Located north of Rosedale and south of Mount Pleasant cemetery this is an area of gracious older homes. The Moore Park ravine stretches from Don Valley Parkway east of Rosedale to Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
The Annex
Located between Dupont and Bloor Streets, Avenue Road and Bathurst streets. Due to proximity to the University of Toronto many academics and students live in this area, along with the literary and artistic types. The annex contains many historical buildings and the Bloor Street strip is lined with cafes, and small restaurants. The housing is a mix of century renovated Victorian and modern apartment high rises.
Forest Hill
This exclusive area was voted among the top 10 neighborhoods in the world in which to live. Located between Eglinton and St. Clair and between Avenue Road and Bathurst Street. Forest Hill is home of two of Canada's most exclusive private schools, Bishop Strachan for Girls and Upper Canada College for boys. Forest Hill village is at the junction of Spadina and Lonsdale roads with small boutiques and shops offering a variety of goods and services.
Deer Park
St. Clair Avenue and Yonge St. area is a collection of upscale condos w/character but conveniently located close to all amenities. There is also open space areas with St. Michaels cemetery near by.
Davisville
Yonge & Eglinton
Comfortable homes integrated with lots of greenery to be found in this area north of Eglinton, south of Lawrence Avenue, between Bayview and Bathurst. Wanless Park, Eglinton Park, and Lawrence Park are north Toronto neighborhoods. Affectionately referred to as Young and Eligible denotes the proclivity of singles living here. Shopping is excellent with lots of bars and restaurants.
Chaplin Estates
East of Forest Hill, south of Eglinton Avenue, is this high end, tree lined neighborhood in the core of the city. Short walk to Yonge Street stores and subway.
Lawrence Park
Large lots attract families looking for homes with space. West of Lawrence Park is home to Havergal College for girls and north is Toronto French School and Glendon College (part of York University). Rosedale Golf Club and Granite Club are also in area with Sherwood Park to the south.
